It’s safe to say that Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) is having a bit of a crisis in Coronation Street, and honestly, we can’t blame her.

Leanne has been through the ringer in the past year, having fallen into the clutches of sinister cult The Institute, discovered her ex was dating her sister, and been arrested for fraud.

As she awaits sentencing for her crime, it appears she has decided to make the most of her freedom, before she is potentially sent to prison.

In last night’s episode, Leanne continued with her plot to make Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) and Toyah Battersby’s (Georgia Taylor) lives as difficult as possible, when she took to drinking in the Bistro.

As the wine flowed, she witnessed an argument between Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan) and Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney), which resulted in Debbie storming out.

Seeing an opportunity, Leanne invited herself to join Ronnie, where she wasted no time in flirting with the taken man.

Eventually, things escalated, and Leanne invited Ronnie to join her for ‘some fun’ – which he was quick to decline.

He pointed out that he was happy with Debbie, and advised Leanne to go home alone.

However, Leanne had other ideas, and was soon chatting away to Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott).
The pair were quickly interrupted by furious Debbie, who warned Leanne to keep away from her man.

After finally growing bored of the Bistro, Leanne took to the Rovers, where she set her sights on Craig Tinker (Colson Smith), who reluctantly agreed to join her for one more drink.

Will Leanne ever get over losing Nick, or is she set to continue to spiral?
