Hollyoaks resolves Abe Fielding cliffhanger in early streaming release
Cleo is left horrified.
Hollyoaks spoilers follow for Monday’s episode (January 27), which is available to watch now on streaming service Channel 4 and hasn’t yet aired on TV.
Hollyoaks has resolved the tense cliffhanger involving Abe Fielding, in the show’s latest episode.
In the previous episode, Cleo was inspired by Mercedes, who was fighting for her life, and found the courage to report her abuser Abe to the police.
But that evening, she got a shock when Abe himself appeared on the McQueens’ doorstep, and Cleo’s fate was left up in the air.

In today’s episode, as John Paul worried about Cleo’s whereabouts, it was revealed that Abe had trapped her in the room in his flat once again.
When she was let out, Cleo was adamant that he wouldn’t get away with this, as she had told her family about where she was held captive.
The police then arrived, but Abe was already two steps ahead, and he told Donny that Cleo had forced her way into the flat and attacked him.
A fight broke out in the village as Cleo was furious at Abe’s lies, but he was then arrested for kidnap and false imprisonment.

At the station, Abe, Cleo and Peri all gave their version of events. Abe told a sinister lie and said that Cleo made him keep her safe in the flat after believing that she caused Suzanne’s death.
Abe then gave Donny a USB stick containing an intimate video of them from while she was being held in the flat.
After Donny told Cleo she wasn’t being charged herself, he showed her the video. Cleo was horrified and made it clear that Abe had filmed her without consent, but Abe was released for the time being.
