Coronation Street icon visited by two dead characters as she spirals
Abi Webster’s (Sally Carman) mental health has been on a downward spiral in Coronation Street, ever since she found Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan) bleeding to death in the precinct.
Mason had been stabbed by his brothers, and though Abi tried her best to stem the bleeding as she called for an ambulance, the teen tragically died in hospital from his injuries.
The ordeal brought back painful memories for Abi, who lost her son Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni) in a violent hate crime in 2021.
Over the past few weeks, Abi has found herself seeing Seb, which has left her frightened and confused.
In last night’s episode, she was plagued by flashbacks when she returned to the precinct, which left her completely terrified.
As she approached her car after picking up some pastries for Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) ahead of his hospital appointment, she was horrified when she spotted Mason leaning against the wall, bleeding.
Her flashback got even more disturbing when Mason morphed into Seb, and Abi watched herself cradling her son as he asked if he was going to die.
Completely immersed in the devastating vision, sobbing Abi apologised for not protecting him, before running away.
At home, Abi was devastated to realise that she had missed Kevin’s hospital appointment – but that wasn’t the only thing she’d forgotten.
When Kev asked about Alfie, Abi was immediately horrified, and rushed out of the house, leaving Kevin alarmed.
