Coronation Street confirms tragedy as death is ‘sealed’ in new spoiler videos
Coronation Street lines up an intense week of viewing, as confirmed in my new spoiler videos, with lives on the line when a devastating fire breaks out at No. 8.
The Platt residence is engulfed with flames shortly after Abi Webster (Sally Carman) pays Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) a visit at the property in question.
As for whether she’s to blame or not remains to be seen but a blaze is started soon afterwards, with a number of the cobbles’ finest fearing for their loved ones.
With Max Turner (Paddy Bever) trapped inside as an explosion rips through the iconic home, is tragedy set to strike?
Elsewhere, Carla Connor (Alison King) pays Rob Donovan (Marc Bayliss) a visit in prison but her news takes him by surprise – and seemingly throws a spanner in the works.
For a first look at all the above you needn’t wait until Monday as I’ve got four brand new spoiler videos to whet your appetite in the meantime.
Monday February 3
Abi calls at No. 8 to confront Toyah – who is blowing out candles – over reporting her to social services.
Toyah confirms that she was just worried about Alfie but Abi takes it personally, lighting a match. Toyah steps back and knocks over a bottle of wine, which leads to Abi suffering hallucinations of both Mason and Seb.
The Platt residence is on fire, with Sally notifying the clan in question, who are in the bistro. Bethany is horrified, as is Sarah, while Max wonders if Lily is inside. He attempts to call her to no avail.
Tuesday February 4
The fire is well underway at this stage, with Shona informing David that Max is still inside the property, having gone in in search of Lily.
Before David has a chance to process such a thing, the fire explodes, rattling all those standing nearby. David calls at the top of his lungs for Max, fearing the worst.
Across the Street, Abi hides out of sight, worried that she started the blaze.
Wednesday February 5
Carla visits Rob in prison once more to tell him that he will be tested to see if he’s a match tomorrow.
Rob is taken aback, having thought that the test would take place in hospital. Carla clarifies that it will instead be conducted in prison, leaving him upset.
