An unexpected and wrongful arrest is made in Hollyoaks next week, causing quite the protest in the village.

After the cuffs are snapped on a big character, a number of frustrated villagers head straight to the police station to demonstrate their dismay over this miscarriage of justice.

The question is: will the truth be revealed? And will the character be able to secure their freedom?

We’ve got everything crossed for them!

Detective Donny Clark (Louis Emerick) could prove to be the character in question’s saviour as, following a discussion about Abe’s case with Misbah Maalik (Harvey Virdi), the detective comes to wonder if he’s got the wrong person behind bars.

The tense scenes come in the wake of a truly unmissable week for the Channel 4 soap as abuser Abe Fielding’s (Tyler Conti) makes his presence felt one last time.

The question is: just how will the story pan out? And what exactly is it that leads to an arrest being made?

That remains to be seen!

Sienna Blake (Anna Passey), meanwhile, is keen to talk to Cleo McQueen (Nadine Mulkerrin) about what happened previously, but Cleo has bigger concerns on her plate.

Later, Cleo texts Sienna, apologising for being off with her.

Will Cleo resolve whatever it is that’s bothering her? And will the incarcerated character manage to get out of jail? Can the village pull together and right this wrong?
