Hollyoaks star Isabelle Smith has seemingly confirmed a new storyline for Frankie Osborne, as she reveals she has been very busy on set.
The young actress took to Instagram to answer questions sent in by fans, and was met with countless responses.
One fan was eager to know how often Isabelle is filming at the moment.
The actress shared a snap of her wearing a big coat with character Frankie’s name on it while sat in the back of a car.
Alongside the picture, she explained that she has been filming ‘basically every day’ before teasing that there is a lot more to come for the character.
Upon joining the show in 2024, Isabelle was thrown straight into a huge storyline that saw Frankie suffer sexual abuse from brother JJ Osborne (Ryan Mulvey).
The storyline had a huge impact on fans, with viewers eager to see JJ get his comeuppance.
In emotional scenes, Frankie bravely opened up about JJ’s abuse to dad Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor Dawson), who immediately supported her.
Following the time jump last September, JJ was diagnosed with leukaemia and recorded a confession video for Frankie, finally admitting what he’d done to her.
Wanting him to be well enough to stand trial and face justice, Frankie donated her bone marrow to him, and soon enough he was taking the stand in court.
After a tough trial, JJ broke down just before the verdict was given and admitted what he had done, with the jury then finding him guilty and the judge sentencing him to two years behind bars.
In upcoming scenes, Frankie is set to grow close to mysterious newcomer Kat Omari (Sonia Ibrahim), much to the concern of Darren.
The women bond when Kat opens up about the abuse she suffered at the hands of her uncle, but Darren is suspicious of her motives for hanging around with a much younger girl.
Is Darren right to worry, or is Kat’s friendship with Frankie totally innocent?
