EastEnders icon Jacqueline Jossa has spoken out about her relationship with celeb husband Dan Osborne, shutting down rumours of a split.

The Lauren Branning actress has been married to the TOWIE star for over seven years, and the pair have two children together.

Recently, rumours have circulated that the couple have split, though Jac has rubbished the claims.

‘People seem to think they know more about my life than I do,’ she told The Sun.

‘They were saying: “Jacqueline didn’t spend Christmas with Daniel.” But all I have to do is post pictures of us together with Christmas hats on.

‘We lie in bed next to each other, laughing and reading stuff online about us.

‘The speculation is ridiculous, but at the same time, I know it comes with the job, so I do understand it.

I read things about Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan and go: “Really? Is that true?” But I’m sure they are happy. It’s not my business what other people think or want to read.’

She went on to explain that she is fed up of addressing the rumours on social media, and is ‘done’ explaining herself.

Jacqueline has played Lauren in EastEnders since 2010, returning to the role at the beginning of last year.

She is set to be involved in the upcoming 40th anniversary, which will be marked with a live episode.

During the anniversary, Cindy Beale’s (Michelle Collins) attacker is set to finally be revealed.

Cindy was hit over the head with a snow shovel on Christmas Day, and left for dead in the Square gardens.

Lauren was previously taken in for questioning about the attack after Cindy woke up and told police that she believed Lauren to be the person responsible.

Though she protested her innocence until she was granted bail, Lauren later confessed to Peter Beale (Thomas Law) that she had found Cindy lying on the ground and had run away.

She also admitted to taking illegal painkillers that night and blacking out, leaving her memory of the evening hazy.

Because of this, she couldn’t be sure that she hadn’t attacked Cindy after all.

Jacqueline revealed to the publication that she is set to be in the live episode, and that she is ‘really excited’.

‘Who doesn’t want to be in a live episode of EastEnders?
‘Well, there are probably a few people who wouldn’t want that actually, with the nerves and stuff, but I’m really pleased to be involved.

‘Things can go wrong in live theatre all the time, and you just move on. We’re all professionals and we know that mistakes happen and that’s kind of all part of it.

‘That’s the reason you go live – so you can feel that energy.’
