Coronation Street couple on the rocks after loved one’s remains are destroyed
New Coronation Street arrivals Lou and Mick Michaelis (Farrel Hegarty and Joe Layton) are already at each other’s throats when they move to Weatherfield next week.
Last month, it was confirmed the new nightmare neighbours are set to take up residence on Mawdsley Street with their two young daughters.
Fans will first meet Lou tomorrow when she sparks up a friendship with Gemma Winter-Brown (Dolly-Rose Campbell), who she recognises as one of the mums from Bessie Street Primary School.
Forthcoming scenes see her joined in Weatherfield by husband Mick, as Gemma introduces him to Gemma and her husband Chesney Brown (Sam Aston).
After helping carry their furniture to their new house over the ginnel from them, Chesney and Mick return to find Gemma and Lou enjoying getting to know each other.
However, the atmosphere changes when Mick admits to breaking Lou’s dead Nan’s vase.
A massive row between the new couple then ensues, leaving their relationship on the rocks.

Keen to support her new friend, Gemma urges Chesney to speak to Mick – but it soon emerges the two men have a previous connection.
Chesney will learn Mick is the person who has been taunting him in his silver van for months.
Viewers will remember that the mystery driver blocked him in at Freshco, and in response he poured sugar into the petrol tank.
The vehicle also came hurtling towards him, clearly in an attempt to shake the him.

Corrie’s producer Kate Brooks previously said of the new additions to the Street: ‘Chaotic and loud, Mick and Lou bulldoze their way into Weatherfield, causing absolute carnage for the residents of Coronation Street.
‘Their relationship is volatile to say the least, but at the heart of it lies a fierce sense of family loyalty, and woe betide anyone who tries to come between them.
Although they’re the life and soul of any party, they’re equally not everyone’s cup of tea, and they soon find themselves at the root of some explosive drama.’
Corrie has already previewed some of that drama ahead, as after making pals with the Winter-Browns, the Michaelis soon turn their attentions to exposing the secret past of DC Kit Green (Jacob Roberts).
What do they know about him?
