Emmerdale fans ‘solve’ whose body will be found in the lake – and it’s not Nate

There could be a new twist involving the body recently shown in the lake on Emmerdale.

Some fans are convinced there could be a second body buried under the water, or that perhaps the body found by Amy Wyatt might not be Nate Robinson after all. Amy fell through the ice during the recent limo crash and saw a body.

Sadly she died before she could tell anyone what she saw, while she believed it to be Nate. Clues on the body also hinted at the identity including a jacket sleeve and a bracelet, while there was also a scene concerning Nate being AWOL this week.

Not only that but when Tracy Robinson left ex Nate a voicemail about the crash, the camera panned back to the body in the lake suggesting that’s where he is. There was also a mystery character in a hoody watching the lake.

Fans think this person was John Sugden and now there’s speculation it was Nate’s body that led him here. John is one of six characters currently covering up a murder, after Ruby Miligan killed her dad Anthony Fox.

After Chas Dingle threatened to go to the police about the crime in case it all came out, her son Aaron’s boyfriend John finally told the group where he’d buried Anthony. He’d been the one to dispose of the body the night Anthony died.

He led them all to the woods and a part of the ground where a giant tree stump was laying flat. He told them all that this was where Anthony was buried.

But viewers believe he was lying, with his reaction suggesting he wasn’t actually telling them the true resting place of Anthony. Several viewers were quick to suggest Anthony’s body would soon be found, and that it would be uncovered somewhere different to the location John had claimed him to be buried.

Some viewers even questioned if the body recently shown in the lake was Nate at all, and instead could be Anthony. Other theories suggested both Nate and Anthony have been dumped in the same lake.

Taking to social media, fans predicted John was lying about where Anthony was, with many convinced the body would soon resurface way before Nate’s own murder is discovered. One fan said online: “It’s in the lake.”

Another agreed: “Anthony is in the lake,” as a third fan added: “Why do I have a feeling he’s lying and he’s in the lake?” A fourth viewer posted: “Surely one of them are going to dig the grave and find out his not there?”
