Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) receives some bad news in upcoming Coronation Street episodes, leading to her making a drunken pass at someone we absolutely did not have on our bingo list for 2025.

Months after the Rovers Return closed in 2023, Jenny and stepdaughter Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) managed to get the boozer back due to some criminal activity.

It involved Daisy stealing a notebook from Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce), which had bank account details inside. She then transferred a life-changing amount of cash, allowing her and Jenny to buy the pub again.

Jenny and Daisy kept the money a secret for a good few months, but eventually the truth about how they returned to the Rovers was revealed.

It meant Carla Connor (Alison King) technically became the person who owned the boozer, as the majority of the money in Stephen’s bank belonged to Underworld.

In upcoming episodes, Jenny is given a disappointing update from Daisy regarding her repayments. She hands her a legal document and explains that if she wants to pay Carla off, she needs to sign to transfer the deeds over to Daniel (Rob Mallard).

This leaves poor Jenny railing at Daisy, concluding she is the reason she’s about to lose the pub once more. Daisy bites back though, pointing out that it was her idea to let Daniel think the baby is his, if it meant he would bail them out.

Finding comfort in a bottle of wine, Jenny knocks back the booze again and again. She decides it’s her worst birthday ever…and then makes a drunken pass at Kit (Jacob Roberts)!

The next day, Jenny admits to Daisy that she made a fool of herself in front of Kit.

Spotting Daniel in the pub a while later, Kit takes him to one side and suggests that he should ask Daisy for proof the baby is actually his.

As a chaotic situation unfolds, Daisy dashes out of the pub in a panic. Just as this happens, a drunk David (Jack P Shepherd) stumbles into the road, with both unaware a car is hurtling towards them.

Having heard the crash, Jenny, Daniel, Kit, Sarah (Tina O’Brien) and Nick (Ben Price) rush out of the pub and find Daisy and David seriously injured.

But will both characters survive this?
