Hollyoaks star Ruby O’Donnell in recovery after sustaining agonising injury
Hollyoaks star Ruby O’Donnell has revealed that she ‘snapped’ her wrist while on holiday, but assured fans that it didn’t stop her having a good time.
The actress, who portrays Peri Lomax on the Channel 4 soap, took to social media to share a number of pictures of a family holiday to Sauze d’Oulx.
The first image sees the soap star wearing a sling, with her right arm bandaged up.
‘I may have snapped my wrist but it didn’t stop the vibes,’ she wrote as the caption, filling her followers in on what happened during her trip.
Fans were quick to comment their well-wishes, with one writing: ‘hope you had the best time and i’m glad your wrist is healing well,’ while another added: ‘My poor girl I hope u feel better soon’.
Ruby responded to both with a ‘thank you’.
Co-star Isabelle Smith, who portrays Frankie Osborne, commented: ‘Queen’, with Ruby replying, saying that she ‘misses’ her.
Feel better soon Ruby!
The soap star, who has been starring in Hollyoaks for 12 years, was recently involved in a long-running storyline, with character Peri raped by abuser Abe Fielding (Tyler Conti).

Cleo McQueen (Nadine Mulkerrin), who was kept prisoner for over a year by evil Abe, joined forces with her to expose the villain during a livestream, which ultimately led to his downfall.
Abe was subsequently killed by serial killer Jez Blake (Jeremy Sheffield).
