Kit’s anger explodes in Coronation Street over David and Daisy crash revelation
Kit Green’s (Jacob Roberts) anger boils over in Coronation Street next week, when he learns a shocking development about the horrific car crash.
This week, we saw David Platt’s (Jack P. Shepherd) prison pal Andy Garland (Andrew Goth) plow his car towards him, accidentally knocking Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) over in the process.
The accident came just days after Daisy excitedly told step-mum Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) that she’d been offered a promising new opportunity in France to work as an au pair.
Jenny asked her to contemplate a life with Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) in Weatherfield, assuming that her unborn baby was his.
Little did she realise, the child’s father was actually Kit.

Realising that Daniel’s cash could be the key to getting the pub back from real owner Carla Connor (Alison King), she handed Jenny a document to transfer the deeds over.
A bitter argument ensued when Jenny warned Daniel off, and the next day he confronted Daisy over the matter.
The incident became too much, he didn’t accept her apology, and she dashed out of the pub – straight into the firing line of the vehicle that was intended to hit David.
As viewers know, Andy had been employed by gangster Harvey Gaskell (Will Mellor) to kill David, as a result of him stealing a wad of cash from him.
Having heard the incident, their nearest and dearest rushed into the street to find them both unconscious.
Jenny and Daniel begged Daisy to wake up, and became fearful that she was going to lose the baby. Unfortunately, the doctor had to break the heartbreaking news that the baby had died and drugs would be needed to induce a miscarriage.
Kit became desperate to find out about the incident, unaware that David had orchestrated the crash with Andy so that he could die on his own terms and use his life insurance to pay off Harvey.
He planned not to tell wife Shona (Julia Goulding) the truth, but when Kit discovered the identity of the driver, his cover was blown.

With the death plot failed, Shona demanded £40k from Daisy, and if she didn’t pay up she’d report her for running her down with Debbie’s car last year.
As a result, Daniel was forced to give up some of son Bertie’s savings to save them both from imprisonment.
In upcoming scenes, Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) delivers some unsettling news to Kit.
She tells him that Andy has been arrested, but has claimed that he didn’t mean to run down David or Daisy – as he was drunk.
Kit erupts in anger, what will his next move be?
