Hollyoaks airs Cleo McQueen romance cliffhanger in early streaming release
Who will she choose?
Hollyoaks has aired a cliffhanger which involves Cleo McQueen choosing between two love interests, in the show’s latest episode.
This week, Cleo had a panic attack ahead of her job interview at the hospital, and Joel was there to help her. But after Joel called in sick to work, Leela was devastated to spot her husband and her ex looking close.
Elsewhere, Cleo and Sienna unexpectedly kissed last month, and they were pleased to see each other again when Sienna came home from her holiday with the twins.
In today’s episode, Leela confronted Joel about his encounter with Cleo. She explained her concerns about their marriage and suggested that Joel wouldn’t still be with her if he wasn’t Clara’s biological dad.
As Cleo started back at work, she and Sienna shared a sweet moment, as it became clear that the pair have feelings for each other.
Joel later saw the pair talking and was surprised to discover that they had recently kissed. Cleo told Joel to focus on his marriage, saying that the timing had always been wrong for them and admitting that “it’s always been you”.
Meanwhile, after getting some advice from Ste, Leela made a phone call asking to meet up with someone – who turned out to be her therapist, Tommy.
Leela was open with Tommy about her marriage problems, but he suddenly grew angry and told her that she deserved better than Joel. He misread the signals and tried to kiss Leela, leaving her shocked.
Back at home, Joel made a romantic dinner for Leela, but she rejected his surprise and went for a lie down. Joel then phoned Cleo asking to meet up, seemingly looking for romance.
But Cleo had another admirer, as Sienna took a winning scratchcard as a sign to reach out, finally ready to give love a chance.
Cleo responded to one of her voicemails, arriving to meet someone in the village and greeting her desired love interest.
But is she looking to the past or the future, and has she chosen Joel or Sienna?
