Crucial Emmerdale scene ‘gives away’ Manpreet’s blackmailer – but it’s ‘not Tracy

There may have been the biggest hint yet as to who is blackmailing Manpreet Sharma on Emmerdale, with a suspect featuring in a damning scene.

But it might not be who fans think it is, and another suspect has now been thrown into the rumour mill. Someone is harassing Manpreet with threatening messages over her racy images she’s posted online in secret.

Manpreet first began posting images online before signing up to a subscription website. Someone is threatening to leak the GP’s images to people she knows, and they will soon issue their demands which seem to be money.

Manpreet has been in turmoil over the blackmail, with fans convinced it is either Ella Forster, Tracy Robinson or Joe Tate. Joe actually features in the plot next week according to spoilers, while Tracy has been seen stealing money from the shop till admitting she’s desperate for cash.

As for Ella, she’s rumoured to be leaving the show and fans are sure she’s linked to it. That said, she’s been with Manpreet when the messages have been sent, and is the only one Manpreet has confided in leading to Ella seemingly supporting her.

Warning, the rest of this article contains spoilers from Wednesday’s night episode that is now on ITVX, while it airs on ITV1 on Wednesday night at 7:30PM. In the latest episode the biggest clue yet appeared to show who might be to blame.

In the episode Manpreet was stressed about her situation as Ella urged her not to hide away. As the women sat outside, Tracy walked past holding her phone, making a joke about the surgery workers slacking.

It was quite a random scene, and moments later after Tracy had gone Manpreet received more messages. It seemed like the scene was hinting it could be Tracy blackmailing Manpreet, but is this all a red herring and a bit too obvious?

Fans certainly think so, with a new name in the frame as being the one tormenting Manpreet. Viewers now believe her former stepson Jai Sharma might be targeting her, after Manpreet’s treatment towards his late father Rishi.

The pair seem to get along while there was a run-in not too long ago about a family heirloom. Is Jai out to get Manpreet, with him also facing money issues?

Taking to social media, one fan predicted: “Could be Jai? Manpreet dumped his dad shortly before his dad died.” Another fan said: “I think Jai,” as a third viewer posted: “Could it be Jai?”
