Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Sienna and Cleo’s relationship ramps up next week, as their families find out they’re together! The reaction is far from positive, and with so much drama and deceit swirling around the couple, can they really make a go of it?
Anna Passey, who plays Sienna, chats to Inside Soap and gives us her take on Hollyoaks’ unexpected romance…
Hi Anna! Were you surprised Sienna and Cleo got together?
Yes, so were they! They found each other in all this chaos – Sienna had killed Ethan and Cleo almost murdered her abusive captor, and suddenly there’s this other person who really sees them and can understand what no one else can. Pure, angelic Cleo offers Sienna a lifeline out of the darkness.

How does Sienna feel when Cleo plans a trip to Bali with Peri?
Sienna can’t imagine being physically separated from Cleo, their connection is so intense. The old Sienna would have tried to manipulate Cleo into staying, but she actually wants the best for her which is refreshing. Eventually it’s Cleo who says she can’t leave something she wants to hold on tightly to.
They go on a date, which is rudely interrupted…
Yes, Martha is worried what secrets might slip out now Sienna is getting close to Cleo, so she turns up! Myra then sees them together and is instantly protective; Sienna is too complicated, and she doesn’t need that in her life.

Sienna and Cleo just want to enjoy this time together and stay in their little bubble. They get frustrated with the family’s interference and take the date elsewhere, not wanting to let Martha and Myra spoil things.
Will disapproval from the family split them up?
Sienna’s not going to put a nice blouse on and go round for dinner hoping the family like her, she doesn’t care. Neither of them are bothered about what other people think at this stage, as long as the two of them are invested.
