Coronation Street certainly doesn’t hold back with the shocks next week, as confirmed in our new spoiler videos, with a number of familiar faces set to take the residents of Weatherfield by storm.

Rob Donovan (Marc Baylis) is back on the eponymous Street and hiding in plain sight, which Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) finds out the hard way when he corners her in the ginnel.

Tracy harbours the fugitive for a time but things take an unexpected turn when a neighbour and friend comes calling at No. 1, leaving the florist worried they’re about to get caught.

Roy Cropper (David Neilson), meanwhile, feels like he has no choice but to intervene when he spots Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney) buying drugs from a dealer at the precinct – but one character ends up injured following a showdown.

And Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) gets the shock of her life when newly returned brother James (Jason Callender) makes quite an offer.

For a first look at all the above, we’ve got a brand new batch of spoiler clips so check them out for a preview of what’s to come.

Monday March 17

Cassie meets with a drug dealer at the precinct. Roy arrives and pleads with her to reconsider, telling her that drugs aren’t the answer. The cafe owner threatens to call the police if the dealer doesn’t leave but Cassie gives chase, wanting her money back.

The dealer pushes Cassie away into the wall, where she breaks down as Roy offers her support.

Wednesday March 19

Dee-Dee is delighted when James makes her breakfast and she ponders what the future holds for her unborn child.

James takes the opportunity to ask if she would be open to the idea of him and Danny adopting her baby, which renders Dee-Dee speechless.

What will she say?

Friday March 21

Tracy is harbouring Rob at No. 1 and they’re left spooked when Mary knocks on the door. Tracy worries she’s been rumbled but Mary shouts through the letterbox that she needs to get to an emergency dentist appointment, hence the urgency.

Relieved that she doesn’t know anything, Tracy vows to get rid of Mary while Rob gets his stuff together.

But are they really out of the woods?

Coronation Street airs these scenes w/c Monday March 17 on ITV1 or stream first on ITVX.
