After the double-whammy heartbreak of Jacob Gallagher’s (Joe-Warren Plant) dumping and then finding out her baby didn’t exist, Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) is in need of some Emmerdale excitement.
Enter Kammy (Shebz Miah), who’s about to bring the adrenaline by the bucket load.
Katie Hill told us, ‘I can’t wait for the audience to meet Kammy – he’s a really fun character and a great addition to the village.
‘We might even see him and Sarah get up to a bit of mischief together. It has been great having Shebz join the cast and he’s been brilliant to work with!’
Kammy’s the new local bad lad, arriving in the village just after a spate of thefts at local farms, and he’s driving what seems to be a stolen quad bike.
This is exactly the kind of thrill Sarah is seeking, and when he’s confronted over the thefts, Sarah covers for him. Something about him is calling to her Dingle dark side.
Having ‘lost’ the baby she’d hoped for, Sarah needs a thrill in her life and Kammy seems to fit the bill exactly.
She feels alive and it’s not long before things start moving forwards for these two.
Kammy scores himself a job in the garage, meaning they’ll be spending even more time together – much to Charity’s (Emma Atkins) chagrin.
He even manages to get Cain (Jeff Hordley) onside with his work ethic. If even Cain likes him, he’s either pulling a blinder or he’s not all that bad.
But there’s a snag. A snag that always catches Sarah out. Vinny (Bradley Johnson) grows concerned when he realises Sarah hasn’t been honest about her health condition.
