With schemes in motion and secrets on the cusp of exposure, Coronation Street delivers all the juicy drama next week we’ve come to expect from the ITV soap – and our new gallery offers a first look at what’s to come.
The week in question sees Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) faced with a dilemma as he opens up to Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) about his fears that Theo (James Cartwright) might never be able to tell his loved ones about his sexuality.
Danielle (Natalie Anderson), meanwhile, confides in George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) about Sarah flirting with Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) while in a relationship with Todd.
Amused, George is quick to clarify that Todd is gay. Danielle is left confused and, upon seeing Sarah putting her arm around Theo, she jumps to the wrong conclusion, accusing Sarah of having an affair with her husband!
Can Sarah clarify the situation? And if so, is it curtains for Todd and Theo’s secret romance?
Speaking of romance, Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) is on cloud nine when the man she’s supposedly been messaging online – aka ‘Dom’ – arrives at the Rovers.
Christina explains to Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) that it’s all part of her plan – that Dom’s unexpected arrival is her doing.
‘Dom’ informs Jenny that he’s selling his business and claims anyone who invests in it will be guaranteed to double their money. Rovers landlady Jenny is clearly interested, much to Daisy and Christina’s delight.

Elsewhere, Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) finds Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) destroying the contents of the florist van. As she tries to stop her, Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) approaches. Ina panic, Lauren sets off with Betsy in the van.
But things take a turn, with a crash ensuing. Lauren and Betsy survey the damage – just as a police car arrives at the scene!
