Hollyoaks reveals shock passion for Joel Dexter in early streaming release
Tommy's schemes continue.
Hollyoaks spoilers follow for Tuesday’s (22 April) episode, which is available to watch now on streaming service Channel 4 and hasn’t yet aired on TV.
Hollyoaks has unveiled Tommy Odenkirk’s disturbing new plan – and it has led to shock passion for Joel Dexter.
Joel and Leela have been determined to put the past behind them and get their marriage back on track. But as a result, Joel told Tommy that he couldn’t go to a gaming convention with him.
When Tommy turned up in the village dressed as a wizard, Leela reached breaking point and told her husband that he had to cut ties with him.
Leela took matters into her own hands in today’s episode and threatened Tommy, warning him to stay away from her family.
The couple argued about Tommy, and as tensions flared, Joel told Leela that she was one of the biggest problems in his life.
“All this tiptoeing around you,” he said, “not sure what to say, because god forbid, I end up triggering you.”
With his marriage on the rocks, Joel told Tommy to stay away once and for all. Tommy then played him a recording from his sessions with Leela, where she said that she was only still with Joel because of Clara.
Heartbroken by this, Joel confided in his ex Cleo, who was also having a difficult time following her split with Sienna.
The pair grew closer once again, admitting that they would always return to one another. Joel and Cleo shared a kiss and fell into each other’s arms.
While Joel strayed from his wife, it was revealed that Leela had never expressed doubts about him, and Tommy had manipulated an audio recording.
