Hollyoaks star confirms show exit in cryptic goodbye message

"This isn't goodbye."

Hollyoaks star Charlie Clapham has hinted at a possible return as Freddie Roscoe after his recent exit.

Freddie left the village in a dramatic exit after retuning villain Warren Fox forced him to fake his own suicide to keep him away from Mercedes McQueen. A devastated Freddie left the village, leaving it to Clapham to say whether he’ll ever be back.

In a cryptic Instagram post, the soap star teased a Freddie comeback further down the line.

“What a ride,” Clapham began his message.

“This isn’t goodbye @hollyoaksofficial just a see you soon… Or maybe not, who knows!,” he cheekily added.

He finally thanked fans of the series, writing: “Thank you for your kindness Ciao 4 now” and ending on a red heart emoji.

Elsewhere on Hollyoaks, killer Jez Blake is set to face a reckoning in upcoming scenes.

Jez has managed to fool the entire village, but things may soon change when Liberty Savage comes across a potentially incriminating piece of evidence.

Liberty spots Jez trying to steal a hard drive, realising there may be something in there he’s determined to hide.

“Liberty is convinced that Jez is hiding something, and she wants to know what,” our Hollyoaks insider revealed.

“But she doesn’t keep her investigation a secret; instead, she crashes Jez and John Paul’s cake testing for their upcoming wedding and confronts him head on.”
