The Hollyoaks moment Grace Black is arrested – but an unexpected outcome follows

This is the moment that Grace Black (Tamara Wall) is taken into police custody in Hollyoaks after the truth about her role in the child exploitation operation is exposed.
The teens of the village, as viewers know, were targeted and groomed by Grace and sibling Rex Gallagher (Jonny Labey) on behalf of DI Banks (Drew Cain), manipulating them into a life of crime.
Frankie Osborne (Isabelle Smith), Dillon Ray (Nathaniel Dass) and Vicky Grant (Anya Lawrence) were among those targeted, with Grace gaslighting and manipulating them into having sex with party-goers for cash.
The ordeal was exposed last week when Darren (Ashley Taylor Dawson) went to Fernmere Hill to rescue his beloved daughter Frankie, with subsequent scenes seeing him almost lose his life.
Rex, meanwhile, handed himself into the police in the wake of Banks’ death, taking sole responsibility for what the teens went through in a bid to keep sister Grace out of prison.
But it seems Grace’s role in the whole operation is set to come to light and she’s very publicly arrested next week.
Metro’s exclusive new images show Grace being quizzed down at the station by Danny Clark (Louis Emerick) and Dodger Savage (Danny Mac).

The gangster is totally unfazed by the line of questioning, sticking to her story, denying all involvement when quizzed by detectives at the station and, with no evidence to charge her, she gets set to leave.
Applying her lippy and full of confidence that the police have nothing on her, Grace is subsequently rocked to her very core when Donny shares big news.

The question is: just what have the police told her?
As Grace returns home, she’s in a complete daze. Angry residents hurl insults her way, unable to get their heads around what their so-called friend and neighbour did.

Nancy (Jessica Fox) is particularly appalled and thus she lunges at Grace, wanting revenge. The head teacher, however, is stopped in her tracks by the arrival of Clare Devine (Gemma Bissix)!
Clare, as viewers know, returned ‘from the dead’ last week, confirming to Grace that she managed to evade her apparent demise over a decade ago, with DI Banks saving her life.

The Channel 4 soap’s resident schemer married Banks and together it seems they were running the whole exploitation operation.
Much like Grace, the village is left reeling by Clare’s comeback – with Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) delivering a chilling warning to her nemesis.
Back to Blake
Grace is left with food for thought in light of recent events and, in a rare moment of clarity, she hands Victoria over to the Blakes, believe it to be for her own good.
But just how will Clare react to such a betrayal?

The sisters share a vulnerable moment with one another and soon they resolve to reopen The Loft together as a way to make money – and to get Tori back.
Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) helps Tori settle in to her new surroundings. Upon seeing Tori with Sienna and Dodger Savage (Danny Mac), Clare accuses the pair of abducting her.

Elsewhere in the village…
Emotions run high as Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) is overwhelmed, with the doctors planning on bringing Lucas (Oscar Curtis) out of his coma.
Lucas, as fans know, was diagnosed with a brain tumour last month and subsequently underwent surgery.

Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) questions Ste’s erratic behaviour, which prompts him to confess his fears about being able to support Lucas in the wake of his own recent struggles.
At the hospital, Dillon Ray (Nathaniel Dass) – who is struggling with withdrawal – visits Lucas but when Ste see him by his son’s side and holding his hand, he orders him out, insisting that Lucas needs calm.
Later, in the market, Dillon attempts to steal Liberty Savage (Jessamy Stoddart) cash pot.

And speaking of Liberty, the beloved character spots Jez (Jeremy Sheffield) stealing a hard drive and grows suspicious of such a thing, which leads to her crashing his cake tasting, demanding answers.
Amid the showdown, Lib spots Jez’s book, which is filled with names of his past victims. Is she in danger of becoming the next? Or will Jez talk himself out of it?
All in all another explosive week awaits for Hollyoaks, which – spoiler alert – scooped three well-deserved gongs at the British Soap Awards.
With just months to go until the 30th anniversary, the Channel 4 soap is showing no signs of slowing down so expect drama in abundance as we approach the big milestone.
