Hollyoaks has lined up a new romance for Frankie Osborne and Jacob Omari – but there’s a big secret in store.
Jacob was last seen in the village back in March, when he was blackmailed into helping Rex Gallagher with his exploitation scheme.
Rex and his sister Grace Black targeted a number of young people, tempting them with a lavish lifestyle in order to traffic them. They soon set their sights on a vulnerable Frankie, and used Jacob to help charm her.
However, when Grace heard Jacob urging Frankie to move back home, the teenager later disappeared – with viewers unsure of his fate.
Next week, Frankie, Dillon and Vicky try to relax with a few drinks, following their recent horrific ordeal. But Frankie is still upset about Jacob ghosting her texts.
As she goes to get more drinks, Frankie suddenly sees Jacob at the gate and invites him to join the group. However, not everyone is pleased to see him.
When Darren returns, he is furious to find the teen in his house, but after Frankie explains the situation, he apologises for losing his temper.
The group decide to move the gathering to the park, where the mood begins to lift. Dillon and Vicky tease their friends, noticing their clear interest in each other.
While alone, Frankie and Jacob share another sweet moment as Frankie confesses her feelings. But they’re interrupted by a mysterious message on Jacob’s phone, which causes him to rush off.
Determined to find out the truth, Frankie follows him and questions know who he was on the phone to. She is heartbroken to learn that Jacob is living in a caravan and vows to bring him supplies.
