Hollyoaks confirms Bobby Costello’s fate after huge Clare Devine twist

Hollyoaks has confirmed Bobby Costello’s fate, after Clare Devine unexpectedly got involved in his escape plot.
This week, teen Bobby, who is currently serving a sentence in a juvenile detention centre, returned to the village after escaping in the boot of his social worker Ian’s car.
There was an emotional secret reunion with Mercedes in the currently closed pub, but his mum insisted that Bobby hands himself in and finishes his time behind bars
But all this changed when Mercedes found out that Ian had been found dead in the woods. Viewers know that Jez is responsible for killing Ian, but Bobby was naturally the prime suspect.
Mercedes told Bobby that he could no longer go to the police and vowed to get him safely to Scotland. But Bobby left the village alone – and was approached by none other than Clare.
Clare convinced Bobby that she was a friend of his mum’s, so he got in the car with her, unaware of Mercedes and Clare’s dramatic history.
Now new spoilers reveal that Clare has taken Bobby to a hidden location – and he isn’t the only one being held captive.
Next week, evil Clare is seen arriving at an abandoned caravan, where it is confirmed that teen Jacob is still being manipulated. She warns Jacob that he better have followed her instructions, or there will be consequences for his mum Kat.
Bobby is also in the caravan, and is quick to ask after his mum, seeing as he left the village without saying goodbye to her.
Clare lies and tells Bobby that Mercedes knows he’s safe, promising that she wants to help an ‘old friend’ – though her hidden agenda starts to become clear.
Back in the village, Tony finds out that Bobby was previously hiding out at The Dog. He confronts Mercedes and threatens to go to the police, but she desperately tries to change his mind, as she’s now completely unaware of where her son is.
Meanwhile, Frankie continues to grow closer to Jacob, but next week she is concerned to find out that her new love interest is living in a caravan. Will she make any more big discoveries?
