‘Is there something going on?’: Coronation Street video reveals the moment Kevin confronts Abi

Abi Webster (Sally Carman) is feeling worried in upcoming Coronation Street episodes, as Kevin (Michael Le Vell) confronts her about her connection with Carl (Jonathan Howard).

Ever since Carl arrived in Weatherfield, he’s made it clear that he fancies Abi. Due to the fact she is married to his brother though, Abi has tried to ignore Carl’s suggestive remarks.

In scenes that’ll air next week, Kev comes close to learning about their chemistry when he finds a message from Carl on Abi’s phone stating that he’d like to get to know her better.

With Carl having mocked-up another fake MOT certificate, Abi later shows Kevin a car the conman worked on, pointing out his shoddy workmanship.

However, when Kevin checks the CCTV, he is fuming to see Abi tampering with the car…

In this new video, Kevin arrives in the garage ready to confront Abi about the video footage. He’s puzzled and wonders why she would sabotage things for Carl, questioning if there’s something going on between them.

Abi’s paranoia increases when Kevin mentions the text on her phone from Carl, who claims it was just banter.

Abi tries to calm Kevin down by saying they can talk about things at home away from Carl, but what exactly will she say?

‘She’s trying her best’, star Sally Carman said recently, discussing how Abi feels as she remains torn between the two Webster brothers.

‘She’s got all the feelings and she’s really digging deep to avoid Carl and to not go down that path, because she knows that’s just going to be a disaster or it’s going to cause a lot of heartbreak. The consequences will be huge.

‘So she’s fighting with every inch of willpower, whatever she’s got. But he’s not helping her. Carl’s quite blatant. He’s loving the thrill of the chase and she’s also loving it, but she’s really trying to fight it.’
