Hollyoaks confirms major change for Grace Black as she wakes from her coma
Has she really turned over a new leaf, or is she just looking out for her own interests?
Hollyoaks has aired another big twist in the Clare Devine-Banks saga, as her sister Grace Black has woken up from her coma.
Clare tried to get Robbie Roscoe to kill Grace as revenge for her betrayal (Grace took Clare’s adopted daughter Tori to live with the Blake-Savage family, where she belongs), but things went awry and Vicky Grant hit her over the head.
In tonight’s episode, Clare received a call from the hospital and took Curtis to see her. Once again, she tried to make out that Robbie knocked her out, but Grace said it was someone else, and she intended to find out who.
Clare made out that she was glad she had got her sister back, while Grace promised to help get Tori back… after she had destroyed whoever put her in the coma.
Vicky later turned up to visit Grace in the hospital bed — despite admitting to Frankie Osborne that she was absolutely terrified.
“You were gonna shoot Robbie,” Vicky angrily told her, with tears in her eyes. “He is a shell of himself because of what you did. I’ll probably never recover either.
“…Why did you bundle me into the back of a van and keep me in a cell like some kind of animal? You made me see things that I can never unsee. You’ve ruined my entire life!”
Grace looked remorseful, especially when Vicky threatened that Curtis would find out about her evil deeds one day and see her for how “rotten” she is.
Frankie interrupted their tense reunion and told them about Clare’s current plan to sell off Bobby Costello, which she’d heard from Jacob Omari. “She won’t just stop at Bobby, she’ll take Jacob too,” Grace warned, before handing them her car keys and telling them to go and rescue the boys.
Unfortunately, when the girls got the caravan, it had moved on. Can they save Bobby and Jacob in time?
Elsewhere in tonight’s episode, Rex Gallagher tried to kill Tom Cunningham in prison on Clare’s orders. It turned out that Tom had friends in high places, one that was interested in Rex and Tom helping stop Clare’s operation…
