There is a lot going on on the cobbles of Coronation Street next week, as our gallery of pictures reveals.

Romance is in the air for Carla Connor (Alison King) as she tells Ryan Connor (Ryann Prescott) about her plans to propose to girlfriend Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers).

When the ring finally arrives, Carla enlists the help of Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Prenger) at the Rovers, instructing her to drop the ring into Lisa’s glass of champagne.

As Carla attempts to get Lisa to the Rovers, will she suss out what’s going on?

While Carla is set to take the next step in her dating life, George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) is just getting started with his.

When the undertaker agrees to a date with Samantha, he is put out when Glenda recognises her from primary school and he is left to play third wheel while the pair catch up.

Elsewhere, Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) and Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) are also in a romantic mood.

When Amy finds Aadi feeling down and out about how things are currently going in his life, she assures him that he’s a lovely guy and she knows he didn’t intend to hurt Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton).

As their conversation grows more intense, Aadi admits that he wishes they could be more than friends, and soon one thing leads to another…

Unfortunately, their joy is snatched away when they head back to No.7 and find Jess waiting to take Aadi to the station for questioning.

Things aren’t looking much better for Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) either, as he decides to move out of No.1 while his divorce is finalised.

Having taken up residency with girlfriend Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney), Steve agrees to watch Dorin, but is horrified when he later wakes up to find him missing.

Panic ensues when his family wonder if he has crawled into a fridge that has been taken to the dump – will he be found?

It’s also a tough week for Theo Silverton (James Cartwright), who learns that his family is pictured on a leaflet promoting ‘Traditional Family Values’ for Noah’s church.

Overwhelmed, Theo cancels his lunch date with Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) and trashes the builder’s yard in a fit of rage. How will Gary Windass (Mikey North) react to the damage?

Meanwhile, Hope Stape’s (Isabella Flanagan) prank on Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) leaves her without a phone, though Ty promises to give it back if she deletes the photo she took of his backside.

However, when Hope reveals that she’s going to post it on social media, Abi Webster (Sally Carman) demands that Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) find the phone before she gets it back.

This comes after Tyrone spots Carl in the precinct, and Abi is forced to hide. Will Tyrone spot them?
