Next week on Hollyoaks, Sienna confronts Jez about her deadly discovery with huge consequences, while Rex cautiously returns to the village, and it’s a race against time for Diane and Tony.
Here is our round-up of all the biggest moments coming up in the village.
1. Sienna reels from her discovery
After digging up the belongings of Jez’s latest murder victims in the allotment, including Robbie, sickened Sienna returns home to her family with muddy hands. She sets out in search of her dad but he’s out, so she locks herself in the bathroom. Jez then returns and realises he can’t hide any longer, so he asks Sienna to meet her at the allotment.
2. Rex gets good news
In prison, Tom introduces Rex to Froggy, and Rex is shocked to realise that the man is his grandfather. This unexpected family reunion takes a turn when Donny arrives with big news for Rex. As he changed his statement to tell the police about Clare and Grace’s crimes, he is being released from prison that day.
3. Cleo has doubts
Cleo tells Liberty that she doesn’t feel like Sienna is completely open with her. Liberty makes it clear that Sienna is just like her dad and always self-sabotages her relationships because she doesn’t feel worthy of love. But meanwhile, Martha is worried and fears the worst for her son, so frantically tries to get in touch with Jez.
4. Rex returns to the village
Rex comes home from prison but makes a lowkey return, as he is wary about how his sisters will react to his betrayal. Meanwhile, Ste attempts to reach out to Lucas, but his son isn’t interested, with their relationship still strained.
Finding the right moment, Rex approaches Ste and is hopeful for a reunion – but Ste is unsure and needs Lucas’ blessing first. Rex then decides to see Clare and Grace, and while Clare isn’t happy to see him, Grace is more forgiving as she doesn’t want to lose another brother.
5. Jez and Sienna face off
Jez heads to the allotment with a sense of freedom and is relieved that he doesn’t have to hide anymore – but Sienna is horrified to learn about all her dad’s other victims. She runs off and desperately attempts to phone Dodger, leaving him a voice message when he doesn’t pick up.
But Jez catches up to Sienna, and while what happens next remains under wraps, there are tragic consequences. Cleo and Liberty later make a shock discovery and fear for both Sienna and Jez. What has happened to them?
6. Mercedes is devastated
Mercedes is heartbroken when Dodger confirms Bobby’s cause of death – though their conversation ends up being cut short. Later in the week, Bobby’s coffin arrives for the vigil at the McQueens’ house. Mercedes is overwhelmed by the situation and runs off, struggling to face up to this tragedy.
7. Diane and Tony cover their tracks
Tony preparations for The Hutch’s barbecue turn sour when Mercedes makes it clear that she intends to find the driver who killed Bobby. With Diane having crashed the car to destroy the evidence, she tells Tony that the wrecked vehicle will soon be moved.
However, they get a shock when they spot a leaflet advertising the garage’s reopening. Forced to act quickly, Diane and Tony successfully keep Darren and Mercedes distracted while the car is towed away. Later, Mercedes thanks Tony for his support and even sends him a cheeky text. Is their brief fling really over?
8. Ste and Rex reunite
Ste finds Rex outside The Dog and invites his ex around for tea, safe in the knowledge that Lucas is out for the evening. The pair end up spending the night together, and it seems that a reunion is firmly on the cards.
But word soon gets out that Rex has been released from prison, and he faces the wrath of the village when he pays a visit to The Hutch. Will Rex ever be able to make amends for his horrific actions?
