Nate Robinson’s (Jurell Carter) investigation returns to haunt John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) in Emmerdale next week, as DC Cole arrives in the village wanting to discuss a development with Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley).
While this is happening, Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) gets distracted by Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley), sparking the return of Robron in 2025.
With Aaron feeling the guilt, he works hard to keep his kiss with Robert a secret from John. He suggests they leave the village and given how paranoid John is about Nate, he’s more than happy to agree to Aaron’s idea.
But as they pack up and prepare to leave the past behind, Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) is making a huge discovery about John in his van.
‘It’s quite a critical moment for Mack’, Lawrence said. ‘It is a mic drop moment. Suddenly Mack is like, “Oh! you are actually…. I was right about you the whole time”.
On whether Mackenzie lands in a dangerous place as a result of this find, Lawrence revealed: ‘One hundred percent yes. There’s no two ways about it. This evidence puts him in a dangerous position.’
‘There’s certainly a chance Mackenzie has the capability to bring John down. If he does – well that remains to be seen. But there’s potentially a very bleak outcome on the horizon.’
Elsewhere next week, Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) tells Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) that she’s worried about him, ahead of two police officers arriving to speak to Vinny about Mike, the man he met on the forum.
Also, Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) gets to know Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah), and Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) forms a plan following news from fellow farmer Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths).
