Lives turned upside down in Coronation Street as DS Lisa Swain and Carla Connor are rocked by shocking confession
(Corrie: Betsy breaks down in front of Carla as she tells her Frankie could die)
DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) and Carla Connor (Alison King) are left horrified in upcoming Coronation Street scenes when they are faced with a shocking confession.
Lisa is still extremely busy with her attempts to bring down Joel Deering (Calum Lill), and next week she and Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) trawl through footage from the Bistro van’s dashcam in the hopes of finding something they can use.
Ever since Joel’s case was dropped by the CPS, Dee-Dee and Lisa have been determined to find enough evidence pinning him to his crimes.
Viewers will know that Joel attacked Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) after grooming her and countless other young girls. After discovering that Lauren was pregnant with his baby, he drugged her with pills to induce early labour.

As Dee-Dee and Lisa search through the camera footage, they are hoping to trace the company that supplied the drugs to Joel.
They manage to ascertain that the parcel came from a private health clinic, and Lisa is soon in contact with them in a bid to find out details of the sender, but is the package enough to be used as evidence against Joel?
With Lisa’s mind well and truly on Joel’s case, she is unaware that Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) is harbouring a huge secret – and she can’t hold it in any longer.

In a new spoiler video, Betsy confides in Carla, breaking down and admitting that she’s done something really bad.
As Carla tries to get her to open up by revealing that they should all be banding together with the likes of Joel around, Betsy reveals that baby Frankie’s ill health is all down to her.
It isn’t long before Lisa arrives at the factory and Betsy explains everything to her shocked mum, who insists they must go to the police station immediately.
What has Betsy done, and how much trouble could she be in?
