Alina Pop’s (Ruxandra Porojnicu) recent reappearance in Weatherfield threatened to come between Coronation Street couple Fiz and Tyrone Dobbs (Jennie McAlpine and Alan Halsall) – and now her exit has done exactly the same.
The couple’s marriage was rocked once again on Monday, as Fiz betrayed her husband in a bid to hurry her former love rival out of town.
Fans will know that Alina has been planning to return to Romania with her and Tyrone’s son Dorrin, after the gang that trafficked her to the UK back in 2019 were jailed.
A devastated Tyrone hoped to persuade her to stay so he could keep close contact with Dorrin, but when she remained resolute, he planned to launch a custody case.
However, options were running out for him on Monday as Alina arrived to collect Dorrin and head to the airport, and in a last-ditch attempt to keep them in the UK, he secretly stole Alina’s passport
Alina later returned to No. 9 in search of her passport, with Fiz becoming suspicious that her husband might have something to do with its disappearance.
Confronting him, Tyrone admitted the truth, explaining that if Alina left the country, his custody case could fall apart.

Betraying her husband, Fiz later met with Alina to return the passport, making out she’d found it while tidying up after the kids, and encouraged her to book a flight ASAP and not say goodbye to Tyrone.
Unfortunately for Fiz, however, Tyrone later caught Fiz waving Alina and Dorrin off as they left town in a taxi.
As a blazing row erupted, Tyrone accused his wife of seeking revenge for his affair with Alina years earlier, as she insisted she’d tried to protect him by lying about how the passport went missing in the first place.
With Tyrone having now exhausted his options to keep Dorrin in his life permanently, will he be able to forgive Fiz for her betrayal?
