The aftermath of the gorge jump is put on the backburner ever so slightly in Emmerdale next week, as Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) and Vinny Dingle’s (Bradley Johnson) wedding arrives.
Gabby is hoping for the day she has dreamt of. Both Kim Tate (Claire King) and Bernice Blackstock (Samantha Giles) return in time, leaving Gabby certain that nothing could go wrong.

The drama kicks off and hours before she’s due to become the latest Mrs Dingle, Gabby discovers that Vinny hasn’t turned up.
The beloved character has been in a right mess due to the confusing thoughts about his sexuality. He’s been convinced that marrying Gabby and burying his honest views is best, but has he changed his mind at the last moment?
Elsewhere, PC Swirling (Andy Moore) grows suspicious of April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan). He brings her back to the village in a police car, causing Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) to grow concerned.
Can April spin a few lies and hide her involvement in Ray Walters’ (Joe Absolom) drug dealings?
There’s also a brief update on Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) – and things aren’t looking good for him.
He is seen with the syringe in his hand after being told by John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) that the drug will send him into a very deep sleep.
It appears in this moment that Mackenzie has lost all hope, but whether anyone is close to finding him remains to be seen.
