Next week on Hollyoaks, the show marks its 30th anniversary, and it is celebrating in style with some huge episodes. Tony and Diane’s wedding day arrives, but their nuptials don’t got to plan, plus Clare tries to make a great escape with horrific consequences for the whole village.
Meanwhile, Brookside returns to screens after 23 years when Donny visits the iconic close in search of answers. Plus, Hollyoaks Later makes a sensational return in a thrilling one-off episode at 10.05pm on Wednesday, 22 October.

Monday 20 October – Episode 6632
1. Tony and Diane prepare to get wed
It’s Tony and Diane’s wedding day, and Tony is ready for the big moment – with Tom by his side. Ro, Dee Dee and Ant all arrive home, ready to watch their parents get married. But Diane is nervous…
As the morning continues, Tony and Diane have a wedding breakfast with their children. However, is it a bad omen that Tony has seen his bride before she walks down the aisle?
2. Clare plans her escape
Grace grows suspicious about why her sister Clare is in such a giddy mood. Later, Grace goes to Ste and begs him to help Rex, who is seemingly in on Grace’s plan.
The pair meet up with Rex and urge him not to take Tori away from the village. Meanwhile, Clare waits at the airfield for Tori to be brought to her, so she can finally flee Hollyoaks. But with Jez lurking in the shadows, will everything go to plan?
3. Darren draws a blank
Following a dramatic series of events, Darren is left questioning a decision he made. But he puts this aside and gets ready for the wedding, to the relief of Nancy. Darren tells her that he had a blackout and therefore doesn’t remember what happened the previous night.
Nancy makes it clear that they need to pull together for the big day, but will the past come back to haunt Darren?
4. Tom and Peri celebrate
With Tom and Peri’s romance officially back on, the loved-up couple have some happy news to share with their nearest and dearest – and they head to The Dog to spread the joy. What do they have to tell the village?

5. Tony faces a huge decision
Tony and Diane’s wedding day doesn’t go to plan, and as the fallout from the nuptials continues, the guests are left emotional. Meanwhile, Jack is running late to proceedings, and he rushes to get to The Dog.
In the aftermath of the wedding, Tony gets another huge shock, and he is forced to make an impossible choice…
6. One villager is in danger
What happens with Clare’s sinister plan is being kept tightly under wraps for now, but as chaos unfolds, an ambulance brings in a resident from the airfield to the hospital – which character is in deadly peril?

7. Donny wants answers
Donny and his team are responding to Clare’s scheme and the complete chaos it has caused throughout the village. Misbah is busy at the hospital but is worried about her partner.
After a run-in with Froggy, it seems Donny is getting closer to bringing down the criminal gang – but he gets startled by an unexpected home truth.
8. Brookside returns
Donny calls on his old friend, taxi driver Benny for help with his quest. He ignores Benny’s warning and heads straight to Brookside Close…
When the taxi pulls up in the close and Donny pulls up, he is immediately greeted by matriarch Sheila Grant. But she isn’t very happy and isn’t afraid to tell Donny what she thinks. How will his visit to Brookside unfold?
Wednesday 22 October – Hollyoaks Later
9. Donny gets away
Late-night spin-off Hollyoaks Later picks up from where the Brookside crossover ends, and Donny makes a tense escape from the close. Alongside the detective, Warren and Gemma also flee and head to the wealthy suburbs – where lives are in huge danger.
10. Theresa is back
In this special episode, we find returnee Theresa at John Lennon airport. She left Hollyoaks village for an influencer job in Japan, but she seems to now be fleeing her glamorous life which has gone very wrong.
She risks her own freedom – and the police career of his ex, Dodger – by becoming embroiled in an illegal smuggling operation…
11. The teens let loose
With the entire episode filmed on location in Liverpool city centre and Merseyside teenagers Dillon, Lucas, Vicky and Frankie escape the village and head to the city. The group are trying to navigate the next stage of their lives in the aftermath of the child exploitation they were involved in.
On their night out, the teens attempt to blot out the traumatic events of the last year – but they have mixed success. How will their eventful evening unfold?
12. Frankie makes a connection
Featuring in the episode is Brookside resident Esme – the daughter of Jacqui, who was played by Hollyoaks’ very own Alex Fletcher! Meeting newcomer Esme brings escapism for struggling Frankie, but what will be the nature of their relationship?
13. New characters pose a threat
Amongst this drama, gang members Sully and Griff lurk in the shadows and could be a danger to not only Hollyoaks’ undercover police officers but to the wider community. As buried secrets threaten some strong family ties, characters are forced to consider who they can really trust.
