Hollyoaks reveals new Diane and Darren feud in heated confrontation scenes

Hollyoaks has revealed new tensions between Diane Hutchinson and Darren Osborne, as the feud between the two families continues to escalate next week. But could their heated scrap lead to disastrous consequences when the Hutchinsons get the police involved?

“The revelation that Tony and Nancy had a one-night stand back in 2020 has completely destroyed both the Hutchinsons and the Osbornes,” recaps our insider. “Not only did they both betray their other halves, but it was confirmed that Tony is Morgan’s biological father – which was devastating for Darren to find out.”

While Diane found out the truth on her and Tony’s wedding day, Darren has known this for several weeks – and it was a bombshell that sent him spiralling towards alcohol and gambling.

He asked Warren to put out a hit on Tony on his wedding day, though the chaos of the village plane crash meant that Warren didn’t fulfill his mission.

But Darren took matters into his own hands and aimed a gun at his former best friend in The Dog. Tony was shot and fell to the floor, though we never saw who actually pulled the trigger, and missing Clare is currently being blamed for the crime.

With Nancy also injured in the Love Boat explosion, both she and Tony are currently in serious conditions in hospital – and the two families are currently in turmoil as they come to terms with what has happened.

In next week’s scenes, Diane is keen to keep things normal for the children during this very uncertain time so has an idea that she thinks might work.

She approaches Darren and suggests that Morgan has a play date with the Hutchinson kids. However, her idea doesn’t go down too well…

“Diane has only good intentions, but Darren doesn’t see it that way,” explains our source. “After all, Morgan hanging out with the Hutchinsons would force him to accept that they are all related! Darren isn’t pleased and snaps at Diane, urging her to stay away from his family.”

A heated argument breaks out between the pair as the situation escalates, and Darren ends up running off after their confrontation.

But later, Diane takes Ant and Dee Dee to the police station, where they present Dodger with a video. What does this footage show, and is it to do with Darren or someone else entirely?
