Coronation Street confirms unexpected crime committed as resident reels in new spoiler video

Hope Stape (Isabella Flanagan) turns to crime as her addiction to vapes worsens in Coronation Street next week.

As viewers know, the troubled teen has been secretly puffing away on the flavoured vapes behind her family’s back, despite previously grassing Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne) up for selling them at school last year.

Her secret was uncovered earlier this month when her step-grandmother Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney) found one in her school bag.

Next week, her parents Fiz and Tyrone Dobbs (Jennie McAlpine and Alan Halsall) are shocked when they are informed about their daughter’s habit from her school.

They later give her a lecture on the harmful effects of vaping, but Hope is not interested in listening to their warning.

As our spoiler video reveals, she then heads off to the Corner Shop, where she distracts  Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) so she can steal vapes off the counter when his back is turned.

However, as she rushes out of the store, she knocks the display off the counter, piquing Aadi’s interest – will he tell Fiz and Tyrone of Hope’s crime?

It’s been a difficult few months for the teenager, who has been furious since Tyrone’s ex Alina Pop’s (Ruxandra Porojnicu) reappeared with his secret son Dorin last month, fearing she will split her reunited family up once again.

Viewers also saw the character break up with boyfriend Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) before being rejected by Jack Webster (Kyran Bowes).

Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
