Hollyoaks reveals unexpected new suspect for Tony attack amid huge discovery
Is Ant responsible?
Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Hollyoaks has confirmed a new suspect for Tony Hutchinson’s shooting, and it’s a very unexpected character. After a violent incident involving Ant, Diane makes a deeply concerning discovery about her son, but is the teenager guilty of a serious crime?
“With Tony still in hospital, it’s no surprise that Darren ends up in the frame for shooting him,” begins our insider.
“After all, he did put out the original hit on his friend’s wedding day, and viewers saw him pointing a gun at him in The Hutch. But this is Hollyoaks, so nothing is ever simple – and someone else may be responsible…”
Darren gets arrested for leaving Tony fighting for his life, but there isn’t enough evidence to hold him in custody any longer, so he gets released and next week he returns to the village.

Jack is concerned about the reaction his son will get when he boldly walks straight into The Dog. However, Darren refuses to leave and insists that he has done nothing wrong.
Ant in particular isn’t happy to see Darren back in the village and is furious that the police have released him.
Dee Dee attempts to calm her brother down, and Froggy is forced to intervene as the situation escalates. But Ant is only just getting started, and decides to cause chaos…

“Ant goes on an angry rampage, and wants to get revenge on Darren,” our source reveals. “He heads outside with a brick in his hand and begins smashing up his taxi – but Darren catches him in the act.
“He is quick to call the police and report the incident, but Froggy encourages him to give the teen a break, so will Ant face consequences?”
Later in the week, Diane has trouble with Ant too and is frustrated that her son is constantly glued to his phone. She confiscates his device and refuses to give it back, but this doesn’t go down well, and Ant grows angry again.
