Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Hollyoaks will see two characters team up to help Cleo McQueen as she goes through postpartum psychosis in new scenes.
The Channel 4 soap has been tackling an important storyline for Cleo, who has been struggling to cope since the premature birth of her baby Joseph during the soap’s dramatic 30th anniversary.
In scenes airing next week, Cleo, who had been admitted to hospital after experiencing hallucinations, is advised to stay on while her baby could go home.
Cleo, however, is suspicious of girlfriend Sienna Blake’s real intentions as she entrusts her son to her.

At home, Prince McQueen is on hand to help with baby Joseph. He and Sienna join forces to get through to Cleo, using their own experiences after being separated from their respective children.
In recent scenes, Cleo’s loved ones grew concerned when it became clear she was having distressing thoughts and hearing voices.
Cleo’s psychosis had led her to believe she’d been talking to Sienna’s twin brother Dogder, who had invited her to leave everything behind and run away with him.

Once Sienna found out, she confronted Dodger. She and Cleo were stunned to realise Dodger had never spoken to the new mum about plans to leave.
As Misbah Maalik vowed to help Cleo, she was admitted to the hospital, where she would receive the care she needed.
