The 24-year-old has also appeared in Waterloo Road

AN axed soap star has landed a job as a barber after struggling to find acting work.
Earlier this year, Zachary Sutcliffe starred in Hollyoaks as Bobby Costello, who had escaped from a juvenile detention centre after previously being locked up for murder.

Zachary was previously working for his dad’s bricklaying business between acting jobs
However, after just a couple of months on screen, Bobby was murdered by serial killer Jez Blake, bringing Zachary’s time on the E4 soap to a close.
While Zachary, 24, has also starred in Waterloo Road as Schumacher ‘Schuey’ Weever, he has been carrying out regular jobs in between his acting work.
Back in October, he revealed he was working as a labourer for his dad’s bricklaying company, sharing a photo of him at work with the caption: “Is that him from Waterloo Road?”
He added beneath: “Meanwhile, I’m outside renovating you’re driveaway.”
But it seems Zachary is multi-talented, as this week he has been revealed as a trainee barber at a shop in Bradford.
Alongside a picture of Zachary wearing a black hoodie and silver chain, the caption for Romano & Co barbers read: “Welcome to the team @zacharysutcliffe. Available to Tuesday-Saturdays.”
Zachary also launched his own Instagram page called sutcliffecuts and began sharing examples of his work.
A source previously said of Bobby’s Hollyoaks return: “Bobby’s return was only going to be for limited stint but his death will have explosive consequences.
“With Jez claiming more and more victims, their loved ones will be left behind determined to get justice.
“This twist is going to set Jez against his own sister-in-law Mercedes McQueen and once she discovers the truth – hell hath no fury.”
Meanwhile, Channel 4 boss Ian Katz recently revealed that ratings have surged 11 per cent since the show went down to three episodes a week.
He said: “Channel4’s much loved soap, Hollyoaks, is having quite a year.
While most soaps are in decline, its viewership for the year to date is up 11% thanks to the brilliant creative leadership Lime’s Hannah Cheers and our own Louise Donald.”
