Where you’ve seen Landman’s Guy Burnet from Hollyoaks to Netflix hit

Landman season two is well underway with the Western drama introducing a new blossoming romance for Rebecca Falcone.

Landman is back for season two with fans keen to know everything there is about actor Guy Burnet who portrays newcomer Charlie Newsom.

Landman returned to Paramount+ for season two’s fourth episode Dancing Rainbows which saw attorney Rebecca Falcone (played by Kayla Wallace) in uncharted territory.

Following a turbulent fight with charming Charlie Newsom (Guy Burnet), Rebecca ended up sleeping with the engineer and now fans believe this is the start of a new love story.

Opening up to Town and Country about joining the Landman world, Burnet shared: “What’s cool about it is that it’s such a universal show.

“It encapsulates everything, and it does it in a really fluid way, because the writing is the best I’ve ever read, to be honest with you. Taylor [Sheridan]’s the best writer that I’ve experienced.”

What shows has Guy Burnet appeared in?

Landman actor Guy Burnet may be rubbing shoulders with some of the best in Hollywood now but he initially started out in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks as Craig Dean.

One of his most memorable storylines aired back in the early noughties when Burnet’s character was exploring his sexuality and fell in love with his best friend John-Paul McQueen (James Sutton).

After his stint at Hollyoaks came to an end, Burnet went on to feature in various films including A Beautiful Now with Suits actress Abigail Spencer and thriller Day Out of Days with Working Girl’s Melanie Griffith.

This was followed by a string of television appearances in some big American shows including Ray Donovan, Chicago Fire, The Affair with Dominic West and Ruth Wilson and Hand of God.

The 42-year-old then joined the Pitch Perfect universe in the third and final film as music producer Theo who tries to flirt with Beca (Anna Kendrick) but she isn’t having any of it.

It was then in 2019 that he starred in Prime Video’s sci-fi thriller The Feed as psychologist Tom Hatfield.

In this dystopian world, everyone’s brains can be implanted with something called “The Feed” which allows the instant sharing of information, memories and emotions.

Burnet had a handful of other films come out during this time but it wasn’t until two years ago that he starred in an award-winning film with Oppenheimer.

He was behind British physicist George Eltenton, starring opposite Cillian Murphy, Florence Pugh and Emily Blunt, just to name a few.

Burnet then shifted his talents to Netflix ’s unforgettable sci-fi series 3 Body Problem where he was behind the mysterious, menacing figure Rufus.

This wasn’t to be his only trip into the Netflix universe either last year as Burnet went on to star opposite The Terminator’s Arnold Schwarzenegger in the action-comedy FUBAR, playing Theodore Chips, a former MI6 agent-turned-terrorist.

So bearing his varied acting career so far in mind, fans cannot wait to see what Burnet has got in store for Landman season two.
