Hollyoaks‘ Cleo McQueen will be left devastated this week as Sienna Blake’s shocking secret is revealed. The new mum finally learns the truth about her baby’s terrifying seizure, but will this mean the end of her relationship?
Following the birth of her son Joseph last October, Cleo has been experiencing postpartum psychosis. Though she was discharged from the psychiatric ward, she continued to struggle while adjusting to motherhood.
The nurse was later readmitted to hospital after Joseph suffered a seizure at home. It was assumed that frazzled Cleo was responsible for the incident, but this week’s episodes revealed that Sienna’s daughter Sophie had actually caused the injury.
On Tuesday night, worried Sophie admitted that she had shaken the baby while Cleo was asleep, after getting frustrated by his constant crying. Sienna was horrified to learn the truth, but decided to keep it a secret.
Later, Sienna panicked when Sophie took Joseph for a stroll in the pram, and she warned her that she had to be supervised because of her actions. However, their secret was soon exposed as Joseph’s new foster carer Leela Lomax overheard the conversation.
In this week’s episodes, Sienna is left with no choice but to confess the whole truth to Cleo. She visits her girlfriend in the hospital and begs her to understand her reasoning for keeping Sophie’s secret.
With Cleo questioning her abilities as a mother due to the accident, how will she react to Sienna’s betrayal?
