Next week on Hollyoaks, Diane’s loved ones struggle to process her devastating cancer diagnosis. Meanwhile, Lucas finds himself in danger in prison, and Mercedes tries to get romantic with Warren.
Here is our spoiler round-up of all the biggest moments coming up in the village.
Monday 9 March – Episode 6689
1. Diane struggles with her life-changing news
Diane is still reeling from the news that she has advanced stage ovarian cancer.
Despite this, she is determined to keep up a semblance of normality for her children and continues with the morning routine.
2. Tony learns the truth
Tony returns home from his golf retreat with Dom, unaware of what’s been going on with Diane.
However, when Tony stumbles upon Diane’s diagnosis letter from the hospital, he is horrified and immediately sends Dom home.
Diane later confirms to Tony that it’s true – she does have cancer, leaving him devastated.
3. Diane’s news causes shockwaves
Prince is teaching a yoga class at the school, which Diane has forgotten all about.
Nancy encourages her to attend regardless, and they meet up with Leela as well.
As the trio catch up, Diane mentions that she has been diagnosed with cancer, leaving both of her friends speechless.
Nancy struggles to process Diane’s news, and later shares it with Darren.
4. Dillon and Lucas grow closer

Dillon visits Lucas in prison and confides in him over what happened to Donny.
Lucas offers support and later meets with James to ask for a favour.
Afterwards, Lucas rings Dillon and explains that he has managed to get a secret burner phone. They then chat until they fall asleep.
Tuesday 10 March – Episode 6690
5. Diane struggles to cope
Diane struggles to keep up the pretence in front of her children, as Mother’s Day approaches.
She is hurt when Dee Dee, who is unaware of her mum’s diagnosis, keeps making digs at her.
When the Hutchinson children shop for a Mother’s Day present, Nancy realises that Diane still hasn’t told them yet.
6. Tony can’t accept the truth
Tony is also struggling with Diane’s diagnosis and refuses to accept it.
He becomes determined to get a second opinion from the doctors, but will Diane agree?
7. Theresa plays matchmaker

Mercedes tries to find her mystery lover boy ‘Jake’ on social media.
Witnessing this, Theresa concludes that Mercedes must miss intimacy and suggests she tries to have some with Warren…
8. Dillon fears for Lucas
Dillon hears a fight taking place while on the phone to Lucas.
When Lucas doesn’t respond, Dillon fears for his safety.
Wednesday 11 March – Episode 6691
9. Lucas is in danger
Frankie and Vicky attempt to speak to Dillon about their concerns over him reconnecting with Lucas.
Meanwhile, Lucas finds himself in danger with a new cellmate in prison.
10. Mercedes faces a setback
Following Theresa’s advice, Mercedes arranges a romantic meal for her and Warren.
However, she is left fuming when Warren fails to show up.
11. Froggy gives Rex some advice
At the Grand Bazaar, Froggy speaks to Rex, who has been battling with uncertainty over his identity.
He encourages Rex to buy a dress and start experimenting, but will Rex follow his advice?
