Coronation Street confirms unexpected return as legend’s fate is ‘sealed’ in new spoiler videos
Coronation Street lines up a dramatic week for the residents of the cobbles, as confirmed in my new spoiler videos, with unexpected discoveries made and a big blast from the past.
DS Swain (Vicky Myers) is called into the station by Kit Green (Jacob Roberts), who informs her of what he found on Joel Deering’s (Calum Lill) device – and it’s chilling to say the least.
Carla Connor (Alison King), meanwhile, appears in court and, while there, she encounters the disgruntled father of the lad she inadvertently attacked a number of weeks ago.
And things are set to take quite a turn as a result.
Elsewhere, Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) is left reeling by the unexpected return of Jesse (John Thomson) but, despite her theory, Jesse isn’t back to see her – he’s back to see Gail Platt (Helen Worth)!
For a first look at all this and more I’ve got you covered, with a first look at next week on the Street via my new video clips.
Monday October 7
Carla crosses paths with Tom, the father of the thug she had the altercation with, and a heated showdown ensues.
Tom reckons Carla got off lightly given what she did but Carla reminds him that his son terrorised Roy previously. It becomes quite clear that Tom isn’t going to let this go as he gets set to follow her back to the factory.
Lisa is summoned to the station by Kit, who reveals that he’s unearthed text messages on Joel’s phone from the abuser – to Betsy!
Lisa is left reeling but she soon has other issues to deal with as Costello, her boss, wants a word, with Kit having reported her.
Wednesday October 9
Eileen is taken aback to see Jesse back on the Street after all these years and demands to know who it is that he’s keen to see. To her shock, the person in question is none other than Gail – who receives quite a warm welcome from Jesse.
Friday October 11
Stu is going away for a bit and asks that Mason not wind Yasmeen up in his absence.
But their attention is soon elsewhere when Logan, Mason’s older brother, pulls up on the street and revs the engine, making it quite clear that he’s not to be messed with.
Coronation Street airs these scenes w/c Monday, October 7 from 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
