It’s fair to say there’s not much love lost between Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) and Daisy Midgley (Charlotte Jordan) in Coronation Street.
However, in real life, it turns out that couldn’t be further from the truth.
Actresses Lucy Fallon and Charlotte Jordan have shared pics from a sun-filled coffee date over the weekend.
In the snaps, the pair can be seen chilling outside a cafe, laughing and joking as they enjoy a coffee.
Sharing the snaps on Instagram, Lucy – who is currently pregnant with her first child – wrote: ‘This and yap ☕️💋.’
Charlotte commented: ‘Raise your hand if you can chat pure nonsense for hours.’
Their castmate Sally Carman-Duttine, who plays Abi Webster, also commented: ‘Too much 😭😍💛.’
On Corrie, Lucy and Charlotte’s characters have regularly traded barbed comments with Bethany insecure about her boyfriend Daniel Osbourne’s (Rob Mallard) previous relationship with Daisy.
In recent weeks, fans saw Bethany become wrongly concerned that the pair had reconciled after she saw them sharing a hug in the Street.
Daniel has since been supporting Bethany after she had a botched cosmetic procedure at a Turkish clinic.
The dodgy procedure had caused considerable damage to her bowel, and as a result, she had been fitted with a permanent stoma.
To make matters worse, her insurance wouldn’t cover the dilemma, as she had failed to declare her lipo plans, leaving her stranded in Turkey.
Next week sees Bethany returns to Weatherfield, and she soon realises much has changed since she left…
