EastEnders star bags major role in gripping new Jason Statham thriller
Jason Statham will lead the exciting new thriller alongside stars from EastEnders, Peaky Blinders and Shetland.

The “fast-paced” crime thriller is a Sky Original movie with “high stakes” and an “exceptional creative team” behind it.
Film fans will also be delighted to hear that the project has attracted a star-studded cast, which features familiar faces from some of the most popular shows on British TV.
Actors from shows like Peaky Blinders, EastEnders, Shetland and Silent Witness all star alongside Statham in the new cinematic offering.
The movie is directed by Jean-François Richet, who previously helmed the Gerard Butler film Plane, while Statham serves as a producer.
Jason Statham will star in the new filmMutiny, which sees Statham take on the lead role of Cole Reed, premieres in UK cinemas on August 21 and will be available to stream on Sky Cinema later this year.
The synopsis from Sky reads: “After witnessing his billionaire boss’ murder and being framed for the crime, Cole Reed (Statham) boards a cargo ship on a one-man crusade to avenge his boss’ death, only to discover an international conspiracy.”
Annabelle Wallis, known for portraying Grace Burgess in Peaky Blinders, will star alongside Statham in the new film.
Other cast members of Mutiny include Ramon Tikaram, who BBC fans will recognise from shows like EastEnders and Death in Paradise, and Atomic Blonde star Roland Møller.
Arnas Fedaravičius of Shetland, The Last Kingdom and The White Lotus fame will also star alongside Silent Witness’ Jason Wong and legendary actor Adrian Lester.

Reacting to the new trailer for Mutiny on YouTube, fans shared their appreciation for Statham’s films, with one commenting: “Jason Statham is now a movie genre.”
“The only person who can play the same character in a million different movies and I’d still watch it,” another person admitted.
“He’s back again. We need 2 movies every year please,” a third person chimed in, while one more added: “My favorite movie genre. Jason Statham killing bad guys.”
Mutiny is coming to cinemas on August 21 and will be available to watch later this year on Sky Cinema.
