Fans of Coronation Street fear a sad twist looms for Todd Grimshaw after an exit was teased.

The character stood up to his abusive partner Theo Silverton recently, after a brutal beating. Todd reported Theo to the police before leaving him for good.

Theo is now hovering, and Todd has decided to take some time away from Weatherfield. With him telling close friend George Shuttleworth about his plans to visit his family in Thailand, fans are worried that he might never get there.

While it could tease an exit for Todd in that he starts a new life away from the Street, there’s the theory that he could sadly be killed off by Theo. Someone does die very soon on the show, and currently Todd isn’t listed as someone who it could be.

It’s not stopped fans panicking though that Todd could be harmed again by Theo and maybe even killed. One fan posted online: “It’s good Todd wants to go to see his mom and dad in Thailand.

“But I don’t think Theo is gonna allow him to leave.” Another said: “I got a bad feeling that when Todd decides to go and see Eileen and Jason in Thailand, Theo is going to see him and make Todd go back to the flat and lock him again.

“Everyone else will think he’s gone to Thailand until Eileen tells them he hasn’t turned up.” A further theory read: “I’ve got a horrible feeling Theo is going to kill Todd. I know Todd isn’t a named victim but what if it’s all a red herring or someone else dies out of the five, and Todd too?”

A final post read: “I am slightly concerned Theo will kill Todd in a massive twist we won’t see coming as he’s not one of the five who might die.” It comes as fans questioned if this week’s episodes sealed Megan Walsh as the victim.

The latest episode saw her finally admit to sleeping with teenager Will Driscoll, in gross, gloat-filled commentary to his stepmother Eva Price. She didn’t say it outright, and instead gave away what had happened with a vile boast to Eva.

Eva had been trying to prove Megan was grooming and sexually abusing Will, with Will and Megan denying it. When her earlier attempt to catch Megan out saw her cautioned by police, Megan could not wait to rub it in.

Speaking with Eva alone later in the episode, she taunted Eva about what she had done to Will. Mocking Eva and the situation as she walked away, the character had no remorse while Eva watched her with a furious look on her face.

Now, fans think this could all seal Megan’s fate. Megan is one of five characters who could be killed off in the murder week, and now viewers think Eva or maybe Will’s grandmother Maggie Driscoll will take a deadly revenge.
