Hollyoaks revealed Jenson Cole’s surprising move amid the storyline involving Mercedes McQueen, which has seen the newcomer and half-brother Warren Fox fight for her affections.
After having an on-off relationship with Warren over many years, Mercedes opted to try things out with Jenson, but he surprised her earlier this week by getting down on one knee and asking for her hand in marriage.

A shocked Mercedes declined his offer, but said she wouldn’t be against it if their relationship developed. Jenson, however, responded badly, and later trapped his lover in her own home as he tried to explain himself.
Warren, who had planted hidden cameras in the McQueen household, came to the rescue of his former flame, and the pair grew closer together the following day as he helped her at work. They later shared a kiss, with a jealous Jenson watching on.
Tonight’s instalment of the Channel 4 soap began with Mercedes and Warren wasting no time celebrating their new bond, with the latter getting even better news after learning that his children would be living with him after Liberty left for New Zealand.
Jenson arrived at the house, but Warren told him to leave as neither he nor Mercedes wanted anything to do with him. Jenson looked heartbroken by his half-brother’s words, and quietly skulked away.
The McQueen household got even busier, with Theresa convincing Dodger to move into her place with Tori. This meant that the flat, with Sienna imprisoned and Liberty travelling across the world, was now empty.

This provided an opportunity for Jenson, who needed a place to stay in the village after being kicked out. He’d overheard Warren suggesting to Theresa that they bring Dodger out of the Blakes flat and used this knowledge to his advantage.
He broke into the flat with a screwdriver and quietly made the place his own for the time being. With Warren and Mercedes believing he is firmly out of the picture, will Jenson plan anything in his secret home?
