Hollyoaks’ Beth makes major discovery about Charlie in tense final scene

Hollyoaks spoilers follow for the latest episode to air on E4 and stream on Channel 4.

Hollyoaks‘ Beth Keane is convinced that Charlie Dean is being hidden at the Osborne house after he didn’t attend the car crash court case, and put her plan to “catch a rat” into action in tonight’s episode.

Of course, she’s bang on the money, but did the Osbornes manage to keep her from discovering the truth?

The episode began with the Osbornes preparing for the lunch with the Keanes, which Beth invited them to, except for Frankie. At Price Slice, she told Beth she couldn’t attend due to getting her walker boot removed.

Beth wouldn’t take no for an answer, telling Frankie: “Caleb has been really down so it’s the least you can do.” She eventually relented.

Out in the village, Beth swiped Darren’s house key when he wasn’t looking, before running back home to put her plan into action.

She told Maddox she had a job for him: sneak into the Osborne house while the family was attending the lunch and find proof that they know where Charlie is.

While the families sat down for lunch and toasted to a “new start” of burying the hatchet, Maddox snuck into the Osborne house.

Although he didn’t find Charlie, he found a video game paused on the TV with Charlie’s name in full display on the screen. Maddox rushed back and told Beth, who immediately revealed the discovery to everyone sat at the table — much to the surprise and disgust of Caleb and Jack.

Beth rushed out of the house to the Osborne’s place, chased by Maddox, Darren and Nancy. Charlie had locked himself in one of the rooms, with Beth threatening to kick the door down if they didn’t let her in.

Will Charlie escape? And if not, just what does Beth have in store for him?
