EastEnders viewers may have noticed a new face playing Jordan Fox during the soap’s latest dramatic storyline, and it turns out the young actor already has an impressive acting career behind him.

The BBC soap has quietly recast the role of Jordan, the son of Chelsea Fox and convicted killer Gray Atkins, with rising child star Jahsaiah Williams taking over the part.

Jordan was previously played by Izaiah Hagan-Brown, but Jahsaiah has now stepped into the role just as the character finds himself at the centre of one of Walford’s biggest storylines of the year.

The young actor made his debut during scenes that saw Jordan involved in a horrific accident after being struck by a car. The incident left the youngster fighting for his life and requiring emergency surgery, sending shockwaves through Albert Square.

The storyline has already had huge consequences, with Ian Beale finding himself under intense scrutiny as questions are raised about whether he was driving under the influence when the accident happened.

As viewers watch the fallout continue to unfold, Jordan’s future remains a major talking point. However, eagle-eyed fans may have already spotted a clue suggesting the character isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

Jahsaiah’s drama school appeared to accidentally reveal more than intended when it celebrated the youngster landing the role.

In a congratulatory social media post, Here For The Drama announced that Jahsaiah had joined EastEnders as a regular cast member.

The post read: ‘We are SO proud of our student Jahsaiah Williams, who has been cast as regular role Jordan Fox, son of Chelsea Fox, on BBC 1 hit Soap Eastenders.’

The announcement seemingly confirmed that Jordan survives his current health crisis, despite the life-threatening nature of the storyline currently playing out on screen.

While EastEnders fans are only just getting to know Jahsaiah in Walford, he is already a familiar face to many television viewers.

The talented young actor has previously appeared in high-profile productions, including Netflix projects and acclaimed drama series, helping him build an impressive CV at a young age.

His arrival comes at a particularly important time for the character of Jordan, with producers reportedly planning significant storylines involving the Fox-Atkins family in the coming months.

And Jordan’s accident may be only the beginning.

Recent reports have revealed that Gray Atkins is set to make a shock return to EastEnders, four years after his dramatic downfall.

The character, played by Toby-Alexander Smith, was last seen being sent to prison after his horrifying crimes were finally exposed.

Gray became one of the soap’s most notorious villains after a series of shocking murders that left Walford reeling.

His reign of terror began with the killing of his wife Chantelle Atkins in 2020 following years of domestic abuse. The storyline was widely praised for highlighting coercive control and domestic violence.

Just months later, Gray murdered Tina Carter after she became suspicious about Chantelle’s death. He then went on to kill Kush Kazemi in 2021, pushing him in front of an oncoming Underground train in one of the soap’s most shocking scenes.

Although Gray remains behind bars, reports suggest viewers will soon see him back on screen for a brief appearance.

Details surrounding his return are being kept tightly under wraps, but insiders have hinted that his comeback will have major consequences for several residents and could be linked to his son Jordan’s situation.

With Jordan currently recovering from his accident and Gray reportedly set to reappear, the Fox family look set to be at the centre of some huge storylines in the months ahead.

For Jahsaiah Williams, it’s a major opportunity to showcase his talents on one of Britain’s biggest television shows. And with EastEnders bosses reportedly bringing him in as a long-term addition to the cast, viewers can expect to see plenty more of Jordan as the drama continues.

As the aftermath of the accident unfolds and Gray’s return edges closer, it looks like Jordan Fox’s story is only just getting started.
