Emotions boil over in  EastEnders next week as Jasmine Fisher (Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness) violently lashes out after painful truths from the past begin resurfacing.

The latest spoilers reveal huge tension building between Jasmine, her boyfriend Oscar Branning (Pierre Counihan-Moullier) and her twin brother, Josh Goodwin (Joshua Vaughan), as questions surrounding the death of the twins’ foster father continue to haunt them all.

The drama begins as Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) plans a birthday dinner for Jasmine, hoping to bring everyone together for a peaceful family celebration. However, behind the scenes, things are far from calm as Oscar secretly struggles to balance spending time with both twins separately.

But things take a dramatic turn when Oscar learns unsettling information from Josh about the circumstances surrounding their foster dad’s death.

Wanting answers, Oscar later approaches Jasmine to question her about what really happened, but he quickly realises he’s touched a nerve.

Jasmine suddenly lashes out and slaps Oscar across the face, leaving him stunned by her reaction. It’s clear there’s far more going on beneath the surface, with emotions running high between all three of them.

Despite the tension, Jasmine later reluctantly agrees to attend the birthday dinner organised by Kat. However, she insists that Josh is invited too, hinting that despite everything, she still wants everyone together.

Meanwhile, Oscar continues struggling with his feelings as the pressure around him builds.

Still shaken following Jasmine’s outburst, Oscar later gives in to temptation and shares a kiss with Josh during an emotional moment together.

Unfortunately for them, they don’t realise they’ve been spotted.

Kat arrives intending to personally invite Josh to the birthday meal, only to catch sight of the kiss through the window, and she’s left completely horrified by what she sees.

Spoilers reveal Kat wastes no time confronting both Oscar and Josh, warning Oscar to stay away from the family altogether.

Later, Kat tells Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) about the discovery, but despite the shock of the situation, the pair decide to keep quiet for the time being. Not wanting to ruin Jasmine’s birthday or upset Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan), they agree it’s better to stay silent, at least for now.

But keeping secrets in Walford is never easy.

After Oscar declines Jasmine’s invitation to attend the dinner, she’s left heartbroken and quickly starts blaming herself for the growing distance between them all.

Encouraged by Zoe, Josh eventually agrees to attend the birthday celebration, while Zoe later insists that Oscar should come too in the hope of easing the tension.

Still, with emotions already running high and several relationships hanging by a thread, viewers can expect plenty more drama before the week is over.
