Emotions run high in Coronation Street next week, as confirmed in my new picture gallery, with sad goodbyes exchanged while one resident’s health is called into question.
The resident in question is none other than Gail Platt (Helen Worth), who gets into a row with her loved ones over the sale of No. 8, which Carla Connor (Alison King) expresses an interest in.
Fed up of the family feud, Gail orders her kids out of the house but, soon, her health becomes the subject of much concern as her breathing is unsteady. The matriarch clutches her arm as Jesse Chadwick (John Thomson) calls for an ambulance.
Subsequent scenes see Gail rushed to hospital. The question is: will Gail be okay? Her loved ones race to the hospital to see her but will it be good news when they get there?
The week in question is a big one for the Platt clan, with Sarah (Tina O’Brien) collecting Bethany (Lucy Fallon) from hospital, taking her back to the flat.
Bethany, however, is soon left worried when she interrupts an intruder in a balaclava, who is searching the flat.
The question is: who is it? And will Bethany make it to safety?
Elsewhere, Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) is thankful when Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) offers her and Frankie a home.
Lauren’s social worker subsequently calls at the flat for a chat but, when Dee-Dee makes a cuppa, she finds an old love note from Joel Deering (Calum Lill) in the cupboard and dashes out.
Will Dee-Dee be okay? Will Lauren be able to help her?
