Coronation Street’s Roy Cropper legend David Neilson living his best life at a football match is pure
Roy Cropper legend David Neilson has swapped the cobbles of Coronation Street for a football stand and, honestly, it’s the best thing ever.
The Leicester-born actor was spotted supporting his home team this weekend as they faced off against Southampton, and he was sure to join in with all of the chants!
Fans were quick to respond to the video of the legend living his best life, which was posted to TikTok by Cool as Leicester.
‘This has made my day and night that man is truly a blessing to life,’ Dani said, while Joanne added: ‘I never knew I needed this.’
It was a good match for David to attend, as his team Leicester ended up winning 3-2.
The club itself was also thrilled to have the iconic actor in attendance, taking to Twitter/X to call itself ‘Roy Cropper’s Blue Army’.
Over on Coronation Street, it’s been a tough year for Roy.
In March, he was wrongly arrested for the murder of Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton), after deep cleaning the flat she had been staying in.
After being released on bail, he was accused of assault, which landed him in prison while awaiting a trial.
Unfortunately, he was held in the same prison as Griff Reynolds (Michael Condron), who was determined to get revenge for Lauren’s murder.
Thankfully, police intercepted the pair before things got too dangerous, and Roy was released after new evidence came to light.
In the months that followed, it was revealed that Lauren was still alive, and Joel Deering (Calum Lill) had been the man behind her attack.
Now, Joel has been murdered, and there are plenty of people who could have done it. Could Roy be one of them?
